It is very easy to upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time, all with no downtime. To do this: Go to "Subscriptions" in the menu Click on the subscription name you wish to edit Click on "Change Subscription" button at the bottom of the form Click on which plan you would like to upgrade or downgrade to Click the "Update" button Be aware that you cannot downgrade your plan if the databases in your subscription are larger in total size than the next lowest plan.
Once you have a subscription, creating a Redis database in Redis Enterprise Cloud is simple with the steps below. Note: You can have as many databases as you desire, up to the limit of your subscription or the subscription plan size, whichever comes first. Select Databases from the top right menu in Redis Enterprise Cloud. Click on the plus sign to add a database to a subscription. Enter a Database Name that is up to 40 characters long.
A Redis Enterprise Cloud subscription consists of a selected cloud provider (and respective region, e.g. "Azure - US Central"), architectural model, memory limit and feature set. You can have multiple subscriptions in different providers and regions, all easily managed from a single console. Deleting a database is just as easy as creating one. Make sure that you are truly done with the database as once you delete the database, it cannot be recovered (except from your backups). Note: Only users defined as Owners on the team can delete a database. Steps Navigate to the "Databases" page from the RC menu Click on the database you wish to delete from the list of your databases.
To view the details of a subscription click "Subscriptions" in the menu and then click on the name of the Subscription you wish to view. There three things you can change about an existing subscription: The name of the subscription The payment method used The Redis Enterprise Cloud plan To change the first two, click on the pencil icon to the right of each. To change the plan, click on "Change Subscription" button at the bottom of the form.
To view your database, go to the Menu and click on "Databases". You will see a list of your databases grouped by Subscription. In this view, you have pertinent information about each database and some of its features. Since a Subscription can have multiple databases, you can add one to a Subscription by clicking on the + below each Subscription table.
